Fuck I love whisky......nectar of the gods......wine is good, gin is good, but scotch.....holy fuck do I love thee...my veins course with the fire falsehoods, and it feels oh so good

Panicswitch, July 2, 2011 at 2:07 AM: I used to love drinking, now I just use alcohol. A former drinking buddy of mine would have 100% agreed with you about Laphroaig. He was nuts for single malts. Dead now, obviously.

Trouble is spirits will kill you in the long run. I'm not saying don't do it, just don't kid yourself. Half my family (hmmm, the male half) died from it. I guess we have that drinking gene that means we always wake up the next day feeling fine then one day someone tells you that thing you crapped out was your liver. Preferably a doctor tells you. You get to the stage where random strangers are diagnosing your liver for you and it's time to stop going out and meeting random strangers. Stick to orderly strangers!

I used to be an ice cold vodka nut, now it's little old wine drinker me. Wine is medicine! Or Belgian lagers. Yum, dessert.
