Summer Print Issue

The time has finally come!! Drunken absurdity is now accepting submissions for our summer print issue! Submissions are open from april 1st to may 1st. We are looking for both writers and for artists/photogs to help fill out the pages and give the mag a great look. If you do not follow the guidelines, we will not view your submissions!!!!

Lit Guidelines:
Poetry: 1-3 poems, no more than 20 lines per poem
Flash fiction: no more than 1,000 words
Essay: no more than 1,000 words

Art/photography guidelines:
Send up to ten separate attachments of original artwork or photography. The editorial staff will be using this work to match with various stories and poems to create a beautiful product. All artists/photogs will be credited on a special page in the back of the mag.

Important!: all submissions of every medium must be sent in an attachment, not in the body of the email!! Send submissions to

drunkenabsurdity@gmail.com with the subject “print issue submission”. Please include a picture and short 3rd person bio in a second attachment. you will receive a response on your submission by may 15th, so please do not bombard us with emails asking for a response before that date.

***during the open submission time for the print issue, the online issue will be closed for submissions. It will resume may 1st, so please wait until this date to submit any work for the online only version***
